功能与背景

This gene encodes a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) protein family. Based on similarities to other proteins, the encoded protein is suspected to be an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. Regulation of this gene may be altered in some cancers. Mutations resulting in a truncated protein product have been observed in early-onset epileptic encephalopathy (EOEE). Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with GERP antibody [HL2797] (GTX639685) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody. Corresponding RNA expression data for the same cell lines are based on Human Protein Atlas program.

Rat tissue extract (50 μg) was separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with GERP antibody [HL2797] (GTX639685) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Overexpression

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with GERP antibody [HL2797] (GTX639685) diluted at 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
