功能与背景

This gene encodes a bromodomain, PHD finger and chromo/Tudor-related Pro-Trp-Trp-Pro (PWWP) domain containing protein. The encoded protein is a component of the MOZ/MORF histone acetyltransferase complexes which function as a transcriptional regulators. This protein binds to the catalytic MYST domains of the MOZ and MORF proteins and may play a role in stimulating acetyltransferase and transcriptional activity of the complex. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2016]

KO/KD

Wild-type (WT) and BRPF1 knockout (KO) 293T cell extracts (5 μg) were separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Peregrin antibody [HL2064] (GTX637968) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident femto Western HRP Substrate.

Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Peregrin antibody [HL2064] (GTX637968) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody. Corresponding RNA expression data for the same cell lines are based on Human Protein Atlas program.
