摘要

Somatostatin antibody recognizes somatostatin, a small peptide hormone (existing in two forms) found predominately in the nervous and digestive systems. It acts as both a neurotransmitter and an inhibitory regulator of the secretion of other hormones. Somatostatin also has antiproliferative activity and promotes apoptosis.

Various tissue extracts (50 μg) were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Somatostatin antibody (GTX133119) diluted at 1:500. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
