New ARL13B Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody for Cilia Research

New ARL13B Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody for Cilia Research

The small regulatory GTPase ARL13B is expressed by most primary cilia and is considered to be a marker for these structures. It is involved in many cellular processes (e.g., cilia biogenesis and maintenance, axon guidance, Hedgehog (HH) signaling, olfactory sensory neuron maturation) and plays an evolutionarily conserved role mediating cilia function in multiple organs (1). ARL13B-null mice are embryonic lethal while human missense mutations in ARL13B cause the ciliopathy Joubert syndrome (JS), a multisystem, autosomal recessive disorder characterized by defective primary cilia (1, 2).

GeneTex is proud to offer the newly developed recombinant rabbit monoclonal ARL13B antibody [HL2173] (GTX638177) to detect the human ARL13B protein in western blot and immunocytochemistry. Please see the product images below and visit www.genetex.com for more details.
